Armwood Falls to Plant in 7-on-7 Football Final

Plant High beat Armwood 21-13 in the finals of the UCF 7-on-7 football tournament in Orlando on Saturday, TBO.com reports in its Prep Report blog.

The Panthers prevailed in a matchup of Hillsborough County's two 2012 state champions — Armwood , while Plant was crowned in Class 6A.

Armwood , the Panthers' only defeat.

Plant was short nearly two dozen players because of SAT testing over the weekend, TBO reports.
