Armwood Hosts Blake On The Football Field Tonight
It's the Hawks against the Yellow Jackets at Seffner's Lyle Flagg Field tonight, Sept. 6.
Coming off a decisive 48-6 win over last year's undefeated Durant High School Cougars, the Armwood Hawks are set to face the Blake High School Yellow Jackets, who last week lost an 18-6 contest to the Brandon High Eagles.
The Armwood-Blake face-off is scheduled to start 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 6, at Armwood High School.
The Hawks will face the Yellow Jackets, who are 0-0 in district play and 0-2 overall. Blake's national rank is 7,437; its state rank, 371, according to MaxPreps.com.

The Hawks (0-0 in league play and 2-0 overall) are ranked 754 in the nation and 56 in the state, according to MaxPreps.com. The Hawks at home Aug. 23 registered a decisive, non-conference, preseason 44-7 victory against Cooper City.
So far this season, the Hawks have scored 92 points giving up only 13.
