Dust Off The Pom-Poms, Eagles Get Set For Mass Cheer

If you've ever cheered at Brandon High, or wonder what's on tap for this year's homecoming game, check out this Eagles report.

A night of mass cheering, involving current and former Brandon High School cheerleaders from the throughout the decades, is set to hit the sidelines at this year's homecoming game.

About to embark on its yearlong celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the founding of the Brandon School, alumni cheerleaders are asked to join this year's squad to engage in another night of Eagle support. The Oct. 4 homecoming game is against the Middleton High School Tigers. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

But first, on Sept. 28 at 9 a.m., in the school's cafeteria, a breakfast in honor of alumni cheerleaders is scheduled to get under way in preparation for the big game.

The cost for the celebratory luncheon is $40 and includes breakfast, "a 'glitzy' T-shirt to cheer in" and admission to the homecoming game, according to the event invitation. The deadline to register is Sept. 10.
