Brandon Recreation Center offers summer themes that highlight fitness, nature and the Olympics. Activities for ages 5-15 will include games, athletics, arts and crafts, field trips and special speakers.
Traditional day camps are held June 18 – Aug. 10 and can be registered two weeks at a time. Bi-weekly themes vary from park to park, and they all include a community garden component and a reading component that helps keep children on grade level reading while having fun. An optional field trip to a theme park will be available at an additional cost. Camps will take place Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. With extended day hours from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
