From Preko to Zadar, Local Boy Swims to Recognition
At the Zadar Marathon Swim in Croatia, Niko Milosavljevic, 13, placed third overall in the Men's Division. Milosavljevic is a student at Mulrennan Middle School and swims with the Blue Wave team at the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center in Brandon.
Niko Milosavljevic, a swimmer for the Blue Wave swim team at The Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center, this month placed third overall at the Zadar Marathon Swim in Croatia.
Milosavljevic swam from the island of Preko to the island of Zadar and completed the 3-mile swim in 57 minutes and 34 seconds.

A 13-year-old student at Mulrennan Middle School in the Greater Brandon community of Valrico, Milosavljevic finished third overall in the Men’s Division.
This year marked the 40th anniversary of the Zadar Marathon Swim.
