Skateland Rolls Out Summer Offerings

From tiny tots to teens, for solo skaters and families, Skateland of Brandon is doing its part to fill in the idle hours of summer with family oriented activities.

 

, one of Brandon's oldest, and , is gearing up to earn that status even more.

A Patch Reader's Choice 2012 Award Winner, the skating rink at 750 W. Robertson St. is offering a lineup of special summer sessions.

Tonight, June 12, and June 26 is Christian Skate Night, from 7-9, with an admission cost of $3.50, plus skate rental.

Matinee skating Monday through Saturday is from noon to 3:30 p.m., with an admission cost of $5.50, plus skate rental.

Tuesday morning skating for tiny tots, ages 6 and younger, starts today, June 12. The sessions are from 10-11:30. Admission is $3, plus skate rental.

Beginnger classes every Saturday morning are from 9-9:30, with a pre-teen session following from 9:30-11 a.m. Cost is $7 for lesson and session, plus skate rental. The cost for the pre-teen session alone, for agest 12 and under, is $3.50, plus skate rental. Parents can skate during the session with their kids.

Family Night skating is Thursday, from 7-10. Admission for a family of four is $15, plus skate rental.
