Westfield Brandon Set for Brandon Blast Fireworks Celebration

A professional fireworks display starting 9 p.m. July 4 is set to conclude the Ninth Annual Brandon Blast celebration at the Westfield Brandon shopping mall off Interstate 75. Also featured, family entertainment, dining, live bands and a bouncy house.

Westfield Brandon is celebrating Independence Day with Brandon Blast on July 4, beginning at 5 p.m. in the Restaurant Courtyard in front of The Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen. The annual event includes live bands, family entertainment and dining, culminating with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. 

“Westfield is committed to being an active member of the communities we serve,” Dawn Arvidson, Westfield Brandon's marketing director, said in a news release. “Brandon Blast is a wonderful opportunity to provide our shoppers with the only fireworks display in the Greater Brandon area and a place for families to celebrate the holiday.”

Attendees can also register for a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree during the event. Visit the Westfield Brandon Facebook page for details.

Brandon Blast has attracted more than 115,000 people since its inception in 2003 and remains a highly anticipated event year after year. The fireworks celebration and live music are free. Attendees can also enjoy great food and bouncy house fun for a nominal fee.

Westfield Brandon’s collection of shops will be open July 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Restaurants and select department stores will remain open throughout the evening.

  • Westfield Brandon is off Interstate 75 (Exit 257) and Brandon Boulevard (State Road 60). Easy access is via the Crosstown Expressway. Shopping center entrances are off Brandon Boulevard, Causeway Boulevard and Providence and Lumsden roads.
