Westfield Brandon is celebrating Independence Day with Brandon Blast on July 4, beginning at 5 p.m. in the Restaurant Courtyard in front of The Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen. The annual event includes live bands, family entertainment and dining, culminating with a fireworks display at 9 p.m.
“Westfield is committed to being an active member of the communities we serve,” Dawn Arvidson, Westfield Brandon's marketing director, said in a news release. “Brandon Blast is a wonderful opportunity to provide our shoppers with the only fireworks display in the Greater Brandon area and a place for families to celebrate the holiday.”
Attendees can also register for a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree during the event. Visit the Westfield Brandon Facebook page for details.
Brandon Blast has attracted more than 115,000 people since its inception in 2003 and remains a highly anticipated event year after year. The fireworks celebration and live music are free. Attendees can also enjoy great food and bouncy house fun for a nominal fee.
Westfield Brandon’s collection of shops will be open July 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Restaurants and select department stores will remain open throughout the evening.
