Martin’s Jewelers, which has been in business in Brandon for more than 58 years, has recently signed on as a sponsor of the 20th Annual Holiday Home Tour presented by the GFWC Brandon Service League.

Additional sponsorshis inquiries, as well as recommendations for homes to be spotlighted on the GFWC Brandon Service League 20th Anniversary Holiday Home Tour, are now being accepted.

“We feel it’s important to show support for our community and the annual GFWC Brandon Service League's Holiday Home Tour is a great way to do that," said Brenda Martin, of Martin's Jewelers, which has been a sponsor of the tour before. "Not only does the tour raise money for area charities, but it’s also a lot of fun."

The GFWC Brandon Service League began the Holiday Home Tour in 1993 with one home and since that time the tour has grown to three unique homes, all beautifully trimmed in holiday fare to help kick off the season. The tour is the major fundraiser for the club and has become one of the premier events of the holiday season in Brandon.

Proceeds from the tour benefit numerous local Brandon charities including: A Kid’s Place, the Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO), New Horizon Group Homes and the Bill Carey Unit of the Boys and Girls Club, to name a few. The event is widely publicized and supported by area businesses, churches and community organizations.

The service league still is accepting sponsorships for the event.
