Hillsborough Sheriff's Office Recognizes Longevity, Retirees (Q3/2011)

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office holds a quarterly recognition ceremony for deputies, detectives, civilians and retirees that, among other things, recognizes longevity of service. The latest ceremony was Sept. 14, for the third quarter of 2011.

Major Mike Perotti of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office welcomed attendees at the jail assembly room to recognize 11 employees for their longevity of service and another nine employees for joining "the ranks of the retired." Respect was paid Sept. 14 at the Awards Recognition Ceremony for the third quarter of 2011. The quarterly recognition gathering is held at the jail asembly room in the Greater Brandon are of Tampa, at 520 North Falkenburg Road. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office each quarter recognizes employees and citizens for their part in helping to make the community a safer place to live. The 2011 third-quarter ceremony is set to begin 2 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Falkenburg Jail Assembly

Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee will be on hand today, Sept. 14, to recognize his employees and selected citizens for a job well done in helping to combat crime and make the community a safer place to live. An Awards Recognition Ceremony is held each quarter at the jail assembly room at 520 North Falkenburg Road, in the Greater Brandon area of Tampa. The third-quarter ceremony kicks off at 2 p.m. and will, according to sheriff’s office spokesperson Debbie Carter, honor personnel “for valor and exceptional work performance” and “recognize recent retirees, employees for longevity of service, and honor citizens who helped save lives and who helped us catch criminals.” Noted highlights for today’s ceremony are as follows: RELATED …
