Seffner Credit Union Robbery Suspect Sought

Hillsborough County detectives say the man entered the Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union on North Kingsway Road, in the Greater Brandon area of Seffner, and left with cash after presenting a demand note for money.

Update: Robbery Eyewitness Recalls 'Surreal' Experience at Seffner Credit Union ______________ Detectives are searching for a man who robbed a Seffner credit union today, April 30. The suspect entered the Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union, 1209 North Kingsway Rd., around 11:12 a.m. and presented a teller with a demand note, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reported. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-30s, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, with short, cropped, blondish hair. He was clean-shaven and wore prescription glasses, a white dress shirt, a navy blue or black tie, dark-colored pants and black shoes. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's …

Brandon Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

Deputies are searching for Jeffrey Michael Cooper, who they say robbed the Grow Financial bank at 1009 Providence Road in Brandon on Thursday.

Deputies are searching for a man who they say robbed a Providence Road bank Thursday afternoon and who is a three-time violent offender. Jeffrey Michael Cooper, 36, whose last known address is 806 Louise St. in Brandon, is suspected of robbing the Grow Financial Federal Credit Union, 1009 Providence Road, at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. Cooper entered the bank and demanded money from the teller, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. Cooper has been convicted of other bank robberies and thefts. He completed an almost two-year state prison sentence in 2009 for a robbery conviction. ‘Scruffy’ Suspect Sought In SunTrust Bank Robbery

The suspect is described as 50-60 years old with short, salt-and-pepper hair and a scruffy, unshaven appearance.

Detectives are investigating a bank robbery at a Brandon bank that occurred earlier today, July 20.  The suspect, a white man, entered the SunTrust Bank, 403 West Brandon Blvd., just east of Clayton Plaza at around 11:34 a.m., according the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. The man presented a note demanding cash to a teller and fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as 50-60 years old with short, salt-and-pepper hair with a scruffy, unshaven appearance. He was last seen wearing a maroon baseball cap, sunglasses, black T-shirt and long pants. Detectives Say Accused Bank Robber Complained of Bad Economy

The suspect in the Jan. 5 robbery of a Bank of America branch in Riverview was arrested without incident.

Wanted for bank robbery, Robert Delmar Fordham attributed his actions to hard financial times in a bad economy, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Report. Fordham, 39, was arrested at his home, at 11408 Village Brook  Drive, and taken into custody without incident, according to the report. He is accused in the Jan. 5 strong arm robbery of the Bank of America branch at 13180 U.S. Highway 301 South in Riverivew. Fordham passed to the bank teller a note demanding cash and then fled the bank, according to the report. It notes that fingerprints and surveillance photographs taken at the crime scene were used to identify the suspect. Fordham has been released on $7,500 bond.
