Manager at Seffner Checkers Charged With Raping Employee

The general manager at a Greater Brandon area Checkers is charged with sexually assaulting one of his employees in the restaurant's bathroom, with the victim recording one of the attacks on her cell phone, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports. Vongkoth Lay Vorasan, 30, faces two counts of sexual battery after investigators said he followed a female employee into the bathroom Thursday afternoon at the Checkers at 603 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Seffner and raped her.
