Local Fallen Heroes Since 9/11 Memorialized on Sheriff's Web Site

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office pays tribute online to Fallen Heroes who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn and Operation Enduring Freedom. The list of 52 soldiers includes 37 who served in the U.S. Army.

  The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has established a permanent online memorial for those who lost their lives in service to the country since the terrorist attacks of 2001. The site, as of Dec. 4, 2012, notes 52 soldiers, including one special agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration. On the list are 37 soldiers from the U.S. Army, 10 from the U.S. Marines, three from the U.S. Air Force and one from the U.S. Navy. The list was last posted by Brandon Patch in April. Since then, four Army soldiers (Marc Anderson, Stanley J. Lapinski, Ricardo Seija and Peter E. Winston) and one Marine (Eric A.
