The undefeated Durant Cougars are hungry for their 10th win in a perfect season with their final regular-season game tonight, Nov. 9, against the King Lions. The game is scheduled to start 7:30 p.m. at Durant, in Plant City.

  The undefeated Durant Cougars, following last week's 57-27 win against the Riverview Sharks, end the regular season tonight, Nov. 9, hoping to make it a perfect season with a win against the King High Lions. Durant faces the Lions (3-7 overall, 2-4 in league play), ranked nationally and in the state at 4,736 and 270, respectively, according to MaxPreps.com. The undefeated Durant Cougars are hungry for their ninth win in a perfect season with their contest tonight, Nov. 2, against the Riverview Sharks. The game is scheduled to start 7:30 p.m. at Riverview High School.

  The undefeated Durant Cougars, following last week's 28-3 win against the East Bay Indians, travel to Riverview tonight, Nov. 2, to face the Riverview Sharks. Durant faces the Sharks (2-7 overall, 0-4 in league play), ranked nationally and in the state at 8,661 and 403, respectively, according to MaxPreps.com. The undefeated Durant Cougars look to make it an eight-game winning streak with their contest tonight, Oct. 26, against the East Bay Indians. The game is scheduled to start 7:30 p.m. at East Bay High School in Gibsonton.

  The undefeated Durant Cougars, following last week's 38-28 win against the Newsome Wolves, travel to Gibsonton tonight, Oct. 26, to face the East Bay Indians. Durant faces the Indians (3-4 overall, 2-1 in league play), ranked nationally and in the state at 5,832 and 310, respectively, according to MaxPreps.com. East Bay comes off a stunning upset win (24-12) against Plant City on Oct. 18.   The Indians this season also beat Lennard (43-9) and Riverview (33-14). Armwood Football: Hawks Face Panthers at Plant High Tonight (Oct. 26)

Game time Oct. 26 is 7:30 p.m. for the Armwood High School Hawks. They travel to Tampa to face their perennial rivals, the Plant High School Panthers. Both teams won state championship games last year.

  The Armwood Hawks, following last week's 0-3 loss to Hillsborough, travel back to Tampa tonight, Oct. 26, to face the Panthers at Plant High School. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Call it the match between the titans, what others are calling "the game of the week." Armwood last year beat the Panthers, 21-0, before Plant went on to win the Class 8A state title. The Hawks won the state Class 6A championship game, but in June that title was stripped after a Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) ruling concerning ineligible players. Durant Football: Undefeated Cougars Host Newsome Tonight (Oct. 18)

The undefeated Durant Cougars look to add a seventh game to their winning streak with their Oct. 18 contest against the Newsome Wolves. The game is scheduled to start 7:30 p.m. at Durant High School in Plant City.

  The undefeated Durant Cougars, following last week's 49-0 shutout win against the Chamberlain Chiefs, host the Newsome Wolves in Plant City tonight, Oct. 18. The Thursday night game is possible because there is no school Friday, which marks the end of the first grading period. Durant faces the Wolves (3-3 overall, 2-0 in league play), ranked nationally and in the state at 3,507 and 210, respectively, according to MaxPreps.com. Newsome looks to extend its three-game winning streak after dropping the first three games of the season. The Wolves beat East Bay (30-22), Chamberlain (31-28) and Brandon (35-13). Durant Football: Cougars Remain Undefeated With Chamberlain Win

The undefeated Durant High School Cougars beat the Chamberlain Chiefs on Oct. 12 to make it a 6-0 season. The homecoming game was played on Durant's home turf in Plant City.

  The Durant Cougars remain undefeated with Friday night's shut-out win at home against the Chamberlain Chiefs. On the night Morgan Heartsfield was crowned homecoming queen, the Cougars dominated play on the field with a 49-0 victory fueled in large part by Jamarlon Hamilton's four touchdown runs. It was the third shut-out win of the season for the Cougars (see chart below). After tonight's game, the Cougars in 2012 have amassed 206 points in six outings, averaging out to 34 points per game.  The win makes the Cougars 6-0 for the season and 2-0 in league play. The Chiefs left the field with a 2-4 record, including one league win and one league loss. Next up for the Chiefs, under head coach D.J. Mayo, is a home game against  Wiregrass Ranch…
