Holiday Hours: What Time Is the Westfield Brandon Mall Open?

’Tis the season for 2012 holiday shopping. To accommodate shoppers, and boost sales, Westfield Brandon has special hours through Jan. 1, 2013. Seriously, there are seven different sets of times, so plan accordingly.

  Black Friday's first-ever midnight opening set a new course for end- of the-year shopping at the  Westfield Brandon shopping mall, which now is operating under special hours through the first of the year. An avid shopper? A one-day tripper? Don't forget to bookmark this guide to 2012 Westfield Brandon Holiday Shopping Hours, as there are seven different sets of times the mall is open, depending on both the day of the week and date. The earliest opening is 7 a.m. (Dec. 26) and the latest closing is 11 p.m. (Dec. 15 and 19-23). For more, click through to the guide. When Will Santa Claus Be at Westfield Brandon for the 2012 Holiday Season?

Santa Claus again will be in attendance at the Westfield Brandon shopping mall. Plan ahead with this quick guide.

Ho-ho-ho! Santa Claus again will be in attendance at the Westfield Brandon shopping mall, in time to snap holiday pictures for keepsakes and giving. The Santa Claus schedule has been posted online, showing that Santa Claus will be making his way down from the North Pole in time for his "Pre- Black-Friday Schedule." That means you can first expect to see Santa at his post Nov. 17-21. Through Dec. 24, Santa will be at his post Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with one exception. On Dec. 24, Santa's hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Santa will not be available on Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day. Cynthia Pinckney Ministries Opens Storefront Aid in Seffner

The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting on Nov. 13 for Cynthia Pinckney Ministries in Seffner.

  On Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Seffner, at a Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting on Nov. 13, Cynthia Pinckney took center stage as she thanked the Lord, and her supporters, for their grace and goodness in helping her become more firmly footed in her work to help the poor and homeless. "It takes a lot of love to open up a place like this and do things like this," said Carol Tyson, from Everest University, who sang a song at the grand-opening ceremonies. Brandon Ballet Lecture Series Kicks Off at The Regent

The first offering in the Brandon Ballet's lecture series, featuring artistic director Octavio Martin, and excerpt performances from "The Nutcracker," is set to take place Oct. 17 at The Regent in Riverview.

  The year's end approaches, which means another performance of The Nutcracker is coming from the Brandon Ballet company, in residence at The Dance Center on Bloomingdale Avenue. This year the company is offering as well a lecture series featuring Octavio Martin, the company's newly named artistic director, along with excerpt performances from the holiday classic. The lecture series, and accompanying look at the company's professional dancers, kicks off Oct. 17, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at The Regent in Greater Brandon, at 6437 Watson Road in Riverview. Music Showcase Plans, Preps for Christmas, October Festivals

Music Showcase in Brandon seeks vendors for its Christmas Festival in December as it prepares for October's Kids Fall Festival and adult costume party, both to benefit the music store and education business's October Breast Cancer Awareness drive.

Music Showcase seeks vendors to showcase their products, crafts and foods at this year's annual Christmas Festival featuring homemade crafts, jewelry, makeup, clothing, food and more. The event is scheduled for Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Music Showcase in Brandon, at 402 Oakfield Drive. Businesses can participate, too, by offering activities for kids and handing out promotional materials. Featured will be live music inside the Music Showcase theater auditorium, with music by students, and outside on the patio, with performances staged by groups from throughout the Greater Brandon community.
