The Eagles were shut out Sept. 21 at home (36-0), extending their losing streak to three games. It was the first conference game for both teams. Following a rain-delay start, the Eagles took to the field after an overtime loss the week before to the Freedom Patriots (20-14). The Cougars, who had a bye Sept. 14, shut out Alonso the week before that (29-0). Durant faced Freedom in the first regular game of the season, Sept. 1, trouncing the Patriots (57-7).
