Florida Master Money Mentors: Volunteer Now, Train in Seffner

Interested in volunteering your services as a Florida Master Money Mentor? The next training session kicks off in February. Apply now with Hillsborough County Extension Services in Seffner.

  The Hillsborough County Extension Service in Seffner is kicking off in February a training course for volunteers who seek to become a Florida Master Money Mentor. Volunteers selected will complete about 20 hours of intensive training in basic financial management and mentoring techniques, according to the extension service Web site. The training is scheduled for Tuesdays, from 9 a.m. to noon, starting Feb. 12 and ending March 12, at the Hillsborough County Extension Service in Seffner, at 5339 County Road 579.  No previous financial education or background in financial services is required.
