This 'Cowboys' Space Set To House Uncle Mike's in August

Uncle Mike's Smokehouse Grill in Brandon is set to get a sister site in this vacated space at the intersection of State Road 60 and the Pinecrest, Plant City junction. Take a video view of the property, as it stood June 7, 2013.

Mike and Simone Tolley, owners and operators of Uncle Mike's Smokehouse Grill in Brandon, are gearing up to open a second location, this time in their hometown of Plant City.

Set to open Aug. 8 is the couple's second location, at 106 East State Road 60, which once housed Cowboys Steakhouse and Saloon and the Cowboys Western World retail space, as noted in this video.

The 11-acre site features both an 8,000- square-foot log cabin building and a 3,000- square-foot open pavilion that the Tolleys will be using. Also on the site is a roughly 10,000- square-foot retail building that might be used in the future and an 8-acre arena that will be used for quarterly events, such as bike shows and rodeos.

Following the anticipated Aug. 8 opening, Uncle Mike's will continue its Plant City debut celebration with live county music Aug. 9 and 10, featuring Plant City's The Clemons Road Band.
